Mary

Meet Mary!  Her family threw her a 90th birthday party in the nursing home.

After posting this image on our Facebook page, we mentioned that this is why we love our job.  This is why we do what we do. No special posing. No lighting setup. No beautiful location. Capturing real, raw emotion.  (That’s Mary’s daughter, Charlotte, giving her a kiss.)

They wanted a picture together.

This photo may not mean much to this little guy now, but in thirty years we’re sure he’ll treasure this shot of him holding hands with his great-great grandmother.

No, this photo isn’t perfectly posed or perfectly lit, but it does shows how much love was in the room for Mary.

Getting a five-generation photo was really important to Charlotte.  Here they are!

Mary even played pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey!
