Hayley

Meet Hayley! This beauty is graduating from South Putnam High School in Greencastle, Indiana, this May of 2018!

She wanted to be photographed on her land in her backyard. How sweet is that?!

If you had an extra $100 to spend on yourself every week, what would you do? “I would put some of it in a travel fund account and use the rest to take out my friends and family for food or buy them something.”

As you can see, she rocked her session. I’m obsessed with her serious look.

Guess what? We’ve actually photographed Hayley before with her whole family – way back in 2014!

Gah! That dress!

Favorite breakfast food: French toast.

One request was to get a shot of her and her car. Why, of course!

Outfit change. I suggested that we must get a front porch picture.

Man, oh, man! One of my favorites from Hayley’s senior session that we posted on our Facebook page. And you know what? There’s no fancy lighting, no spectacular location, no elaborate outfit. It’s the real-deal Hayley simply sitting on her front porch with a real-deal Hayley grin. This is what we aim to capture. The real you.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? “The multicolor one that is one color for a while and then changes to another color. If I had to choose one though, I’d choose a minty sea green.”

I see you, pretty lady!

This girl grew up in the country, and her dad had this tractor all set up for her, so of course we had to grab a few shots next to the tractor and hay.

Favorite place: in between the arms of a genuine hug.  (I LOVE this answer, Hayley.)

Next up, her horses!

Love these images so much!

You can only watch one TV show the rest of your life. Which one is it? “CSI”

Spending some time with her baby.

Favorite thing about yourself: How no matter what happens, I keep trying. I don’t want to live with regrets.  (Girl, you are so wise.)

Hayley, you are gorgeous!

What do you hope to be doing in 20 years?  “Reading this and laughing at how different my life was than what I planned, but at the moment I want to become a radiologic technologist and have a beautiful family.”

Last request was a shot on the swing!

We kept shooting until it was dark and the sun set.

And maybe even past that!

Hayley,

It was a blast to spend the evening with you. You are such a beauty, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you next! Enjoy the last few months of your senior year.

Garrison

Meet Garrison! He is a senior at Northview High School in Brazil, Indiana, and will be graduating in May of 2018! And he’s also one handsome guy!

He was super chill the entire session.

Favorite breakfast food: bacon.  (Umm…I’m pretty sure my dad would have the same answer.)

Seriously! Look at him!

He has such a natural smile too!

“Look to your left!” “Look to your right!” Garrison, you look good any which way you look.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?  “Blue”

Love this shot below! (Nick’s shot.)

AND this one! (My shot.)

Okay, there was a story behind this jacket, but I’ve already forgotten the details. I’d say I’m 70% sure that it belongs to his dad. (Am I right? Am I right?)  Edit: I just found out it belonged to Garrison’s grandpa. He coached football!

Look at that swagger!

Favorite place: my bedroom

That smile!

You can only watch one TV show the rest of your life. Which one is it?  “Rick and Morty”

Then we changed locations and met up with Garrison’s girlfriend, Sydney. How stinkin’ cute are they?!

If you had an extra $100 to spend on yourself every week, what would you do?  “Buy my girlfriend flowers and give the rest to the people that need it.”  (Garrison, what a sweet heart you have!)

While Garrison was changing outfits, we grabbed a few images of Sydney. Work it, girl!

Gah! Another favorite!

Favorite thing about yourself: my passion for drumming.  (We were able to listen to him drum that evening. He’s very talented.)

Another favorite! (Okay, maybe they’re all my favorite!)

He is part of the very talented Northview Marching Knights.

Okay, I may be dying just a bit over this shot.

He hopes to attend Indiana State University or Berklee School of Music.

What do you hope to be doing in 20 years? “Running a business and making music.”

Garrison,

It was our absolute pleasure to photograph you. Seriously. Thanks for being so easygoing and down with our crazy ideas. You are such a talented young man, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Alisha+Christian

Alisha and Christian are back! These two were married at The Sycamore Winery in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Gah! I just adore Alisha’s dress.

This beautiful venue just opened this year! It was such a classy location for Alisha and Christian’s wedding.

The colors!

Alisha was as calm as could be all day.

Finishing touches!

Look how gorgeous she is!

Alisha’s mother putting on her shoes. (There’s an inside story that goes along with these shoes, but I’ll just leave that with her mom and the bridesmaids.)

Girls getting ready on the right, and guys getting ready on the left.

We made it to the left side! Here’s the dashing Christian!

Well, hey there, handsome groomsmen!

Nick’s pretty speedy when taking the groomsmen photos. He’s got it down to a science.

While the guys were taking their photos, THIS was happening inside.

We always try to take a little more time to grab a few extra shots of mom and daughter.

I’m in love with this image of you, Alisha! GORGEOUS!

Time for the first look. Christian had the perfect reaction!

You two make me smile.

How cute are they?!

Then we grabbed the whole wedding party!

Yes, to moments like this!

Ladies, you are adorable!

If we have the time, we try to throw in a crazy pose when taking individual bridesmaid pictures. Alisha’s bridesmaids went the extra mile!

A toast before the ceremony!

As guests arrived, they signed this alternative guest book.

It was a beautiful day, and the sun was out!

Alisha’s father and stepfather walked her down the aisle.

They did it!

We snapped a few family portraits (along with a few pictures of the now husband and wife!).

I can’t get over how stunning they look!

Then it was time to bustle that dress and enter their reception!

Cake cutting!

I love, love, love the way you’re looking at your husband, Alisha!

First dance.

Father-daughter dance.

Christian had his mom’s best friends share the mother-son first dance with him. As you can see on the right, they found a way to include his mother as well.

These two told us they definitely wanted a few minutes of sunset photos. Oh my, I’m so glad they did! Look at that happiness and that light!

Christian, you for sure look handsome!

Eeekkk! Look how gosh-darn adorable Alisha looks!

Love these ladies!

We had a few couples ask us to take their picture outside. YES! Please do! We’re happy to grab some pictures of you all too. You’re part of Alisha and Christian’s story. (Also, look who it is on the right! It’s Cayla and Ethan! We photographed their wedding in 2016.)

Time to party!

Alisha and Christian,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to photograph such an important day and tell your story. You are such a fun, easygoing couple. We appreciate all your patience and hope marriage is wonderful!

Caitlynn & Nick

Nick with those groomsmen.

Man, I loved this day!

I asked Nick what he was laughing about here. He said that there were two people throwing cake at each other.

Thanks for letting us grab a picture with all of you. We so enjoyed photographing your weddings!

Damaria

Meet Damaria! How completely adorable is she!?

You should have seen how excited she was when her mom popped around the corner with an ice cream cone! Surprise! Thanks for being so spontaneous, Damaria! (Shout-out to Scoops in Greencastle for creating some yummy ice cream.)

I just want to squeeze you!

She’s graduating from Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Her smile! That hair! The outfit! Gah!

A favorite!

The colors in Greencastle worked so well with your outfits!

Seriously, this girl is the sweetest! She’s currently preparing for the performance of The Nutcracker in Indianapolis.

And she’s crazy flexible! Look at that! I kept saying just drop your leg whenever you need to (as I was snapping pictures), but her sister informed me that what she was doing was pretty simple and Damaria could move her leg much higher. I was so impressed. (Wait until you see what else she can do below!)

Eeekkk!! Love this one of you. You’re gorgeous.

Before we moved to our next location, Damaria remember she brought his hat with her, so she threw it on, and we grabbed a few more shots.

You just shine, girl! All I see is happiness!

Favorite breakfast food: chocolate chip waffles.

Another favorite!

Before she put on her ballet shoes, she put her boots on to protect them and her feet as we walked to a waterfall – her one request!

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? “Light pink.”

You are SO PRETTY!

See! What talent!

What do you hope to be doing in 20 years? “Working as a pediatric physical therapist.”

We shot until it was dark, but I could have spent hours and hours with this beauty.

Damaria,

You are a class act. Your sweet and bubbly personality is contagious. It was an absolute pleasure spending the evening with you. Can’t wait to see what you do next! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Caitlynn

Damaria’s sister, Jenna, was helping her balance right before I snapped a picture. (P.S. – We just photographed Jenna’s engagement session! We’re so excited to spend more time with this family!)

If your sister and mom tag along, we’re going to grab a few pictures together! Lovely ladies!

Molli+Tyler

Meet Molli and Tyler! These two were married in Coatesville, Indiana, under a beautiful tree.

What?!? How beautiful is Molli?!

Her daughter was too tired to get her hair done, so the hair stylist suggested this!

The ladies got ready at Molli’s house where Molli’s three cats also live. She said people call her the crazy cat lady.

One of her bridesmaids got her this very appropriate gift – “I’m getting meowied!”

The hair stylists told the girls that these hair clips were actually for their nose – to take the stink away when they sprayed hairspray! Ha!

You’re rockin’ those sunglasses, girl!

How adorable is the back of the flower girl’s dress?!

And now to the guys! Here’s Tyler!

That smile!

Bow ties and suspenders! Nice choice.

Guys, you were incredible.

Molli, your man looked handsome!

He wore his Andrew Luck socks. Near the end of the reception, one of his groomsmen took a picture of his socks and texted the image to Andrew Luck since he happens to be friends with him. Andrew texted back that it was pretty cool. (At least that’s what I was told!)

Ahhh!! I’m in love with these two boys!

Ladies! You look amazing!

Gah! Molli, you are perfect.

First look with her dad.

The car ride to the ceremony!

Molli’s dad and daughter walked her down the aisle.

Molli’s daughter also participated in the sand ceremony.

First family photo on the left! Tyler’s mom and dad on the right.

On the left: She was waiting for family photos to end.  On the right: This groomsmen said he wanted his own photo shoot. I think this suffices.

Love this wedding party!

See?? They’re awesome.

Tyler proposed to Molli in Indianapolis near the canal.

Kisses!!

You guys! I’m in love with your portraits.

So many favorites.

Brandy (from Brandy and Mitch) let Molli and Tyler know about us. I’m shouting at the top of my lungs, “Thank you, Brandy!”

Another favorite!

Ugghh!! I can’t even handle you two!

First dance.

Father-daughter and mother-son first dance.

The cake cutting turned a little violent.

Sky shots for the win!

I ran into Ben who I graduated high school with and had to get a picture of him and his beautiful fiance!

Umm…they had some YMCA fun.

Instead of Where’s Waldo, let’s play Where’s the Videographer?

Love this crew!

Meet DJ Mike Welsh!

At the end of the night, we asked Molli and Tyler if we could take a couple more portraits of them. What makes these images even better is the fact that they are standing in front of the tree they were married under a few hours earlier. (P.S. – Tyler strung all of those lights himself!)

Molli and Tyler,

You guys are a blast! We are so humbled by the fact that you chose us to photograph your wedding. We hope marriage is just as amazing as your wedding day.
