Meet Emilie and Jake! We started their engagement session at the famous Java Haute in Terre Haute since it’s a coffee shop they visit pretty often.

Emilie has been busy traveling the country as a leadership consultant for Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, so we booked their engagement session on a weekend when she knew she would be back in Indiana.
A huge thanks to Java Haute for letting us use their awesome murals as backgrounds for their engagement session!
Hello, cuteness!
It was fairly cold the day of their session. Actually, I just looked up the temperature – a high of 38 degrees. Ummm…you guys handled it like champs!

We headed inside to warm up with hot chocolate & coffee while grabbing a few shots too!
Next, it was time for an outfit change AND time to add Emilie’s pup, Rev! Jake knew how important Rev was to Emilie and even included him in the proposal. I’ll let you ask them for the whole story!

Jake is a sales representative for MacAllister Machinery and with his personality, I can already tell he’s a good one!

We grabbed a few more shots with Rev before Emilie’s parents took him back home. That paw!
Getting married at 3 Fat Labs in Greencastle, Indiana this May! This venue also has a bed & breakfast, so brides, wedding parties, and families can stay there the night before. Emilie said she plans on doing that so she’s not rushed the morning of her wedding.
We all joked about making Jake’s arms huge in the editing process. DONE! Haha!

Thank you for putting up with the cold to get some beautiful images for your engagement. You two are way too much fun! I’m so glad we were able to include your favorite coffee shop and happy that Rev was able to join us. We’re ready for May!
