Meet Cami and Andy! They were married on a beautiful, yet chilly, December day. Start scrolling, friends. I bet you won’t be able to stop.
Cami brought her invitations for me to photograph along with the rest of her gorgeous details.
There she is! Her mother, mother-in-law, and all her bridesmaids started their morning together getting their hair and makeup done.
Cami’s sweet bridesmaids passed this book around to write notes to her before she became a married woman!
Umm…I’m pretty sure every woman would love to have your skin, Cami!
She gave her mama this picture frame as a gift.
Meet one of her flower girls getting her hair done!
I love spending my mornings getting to know everyone while capturing all the primping for the day.
The ladies gathered around to watch the famous proposal happen. Andy proposed in New York City at Rockefeller Center around New Year’s Day, AND he had someone in place to video the whole thing. Smart guy.
Speaking of Andy, here he is!
While I was with the ladies, Nick spent his morning with Andy and his groomsmen.
With all the hair and makeup happening, this flower girl found a way to entertain herself.
LADIES!! You’re the cutest!
Meet the handsome groomsmen!
Guys that are willing to jump up and down in freezing temperatures?!? Yes, please!
Andy, you look like a guy ready to marry his beautiful bride!
Cami’s dress was pretty incredible.
Her mom and sisters helped her into it.
Her sister did whatever it took to get that veil in her hair!
First look with her dad.
First look with her bridesmaids. Best Bridesmaids’ Reaction Award goes to….
As I was capturing the bridesmaids’ reactions, Nick captured Cami’s reaction.
I’m dying. One of Cami’s flower girls seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time.
Ughhhh!!! Ladies, you could not be any more gorgeous.
We had originally planned on going outside for pictures, but because it was freezing outdoors AND we had such a gorgeous space to work with indoors, I’m so glad we stayed right here!
CAMI!!! My jaw is on the floor.
Andy and Cami wrote each other notes.
They held hands and prayed with each other about an hour before the ceremony.
Cami’s mama showed up after their prayers and gave Andy the biggest hug.
Alright, you’re going to have to remind me the exact story behind this, sweet Cami. I believe Cami was named after this exact piece of jewelry that was passed down from her mom’s mom. Maybe? Send me a message, let me know, and I’ll fix it in the blog!
It was time for her to walk down the aisle, and when I went to get her, THIS is what I saw! Grinning ear to ear with her bouquet and Chick-fil-A cup.
She wanted to surprise her dad with this aisle runner.
They were married at Harmony of Avon in Avon, Indiana.
Near the end of the ceremony, they asked everyone to pray with them.
Cami’s dad had the privilege of marrying his daughter.
That shot there on the left is seconds before the first kiss!
Then we headed to the Avon Wedding Barn. This wedding party was on it! We had a few minutes left before sunset, and they all jumped into action! BOOM! You guys were awesome.
In case you didn’t know, they met their senior year in college.
One of my favorites!!
You sure did rock that veil.
They found us through Carlee and Paul’s wedding! Cami and Carlee were sorority sisters.
One of Cami’s bridesmaids suggested they warm up by wrapping themselves in this blanket for a couple minutes. Love it.
Andy actually emailed, called, filled out the contract, and made everything happen in regards to booking us for their day. You are pretty awesome, Andy!
They wrapped their arms around each other right after their entrance to the barn.
First dance.
Father-daughter and mother-son first dance.
Little Miss Flower Girl made sure she captured video of the mother-son dance.
Cake cutting.
Time for speeches.
Cami’s sisters put on quite the performance for their speech.
Then they all danced the rest of the night away.
Even their DJ hopped on the dance floor to show off some moves!
Picture of everyone at the reception? Of course!
After the last song, Cami and Andy walked out while everyone was cheering, got in their vehicle, and left for their honeymoon!
Cami and Andy,
It was seriously a blast for us to photograph your day and tell your story. You both are such genuinely sweet people, and we are so happy for you! From your emotional ceremony to the rockin’ reception, it really was a beautiful day. Now Andy, go take Cami out for some Chick-fil-A!
Caitlynn & Nick
That’s me – inside the Avon Wedding Barn snapping the bridesmaid and flower girl shots!
That’s Nick (my hubby) on right and Dalton Edington getting video on the left. We had the privilege of working with NWP Films again! Love them!
I think Nick is trying to tell everyone that it’s all good and no one is cold.
1. That aisle runner😭😭😭
2. The lighting at the reception is😍😍😍!
Thanks again you guys did an awesome job and we would highly recommend you to anyone! Keep killing it and thanks again!
Ps – cami was named after a similar piece of jewelry, not that exact one if that makes sense!
Cami’s name does honor the memories of the Cameo necklace from my childhood.
When I was a little girl, I wasn’t always able to be with my mom. She gave me a Cameo necklace to remind me that she was always with me.
In my mid teens, dreaming of becoming a mommy one day, the name “Cami” came into my mind.
Fortunately we were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters which allowed for one of them to be named Cami.
Cam a beautiful wedding. You was a gorgeous bride. Loved the runner you had made. And the look on your dad’s face when he saw you. Was so happy to hear he got to marry you. You make a beautiful couple. God Bless
Oh man. That aisle runner is SO sweet. I would NOT have made it down the aisle without crying. 100% sure. Also, that shot in front of the wood barn doors is AMAZING!!!
Beautiful photos! The image of everyone praying around the couple is stunning. 😍
