Blakely is back on our blog! This time at her home with mom and dad, AKA Kelly and Tim.
Blakely’s nursery. Her dad created the sign you see above her crib! They own Metal’s Edge if you’d like to order any signs for yourself or gift them to someone!
I’d say Miss Blakely has quite the bow collection.
If you’ve seen Blakely’s Fresh 48 blog or any of our social media posts, you probably already know this but juussst in case you missed it. Kelly explained how they arrived at the name Blakely Ann.
“A little over three years ago your daddy and I met at a Blake Shelton concert and knew that we had to name you Blakely.”
Her middle name came “from two of the strongest women and role models in your life – your Aunt Grace and great grandma, Mony, who loved you so much.”
Time for a snack!
Kelly let me know ahead of time that Blakely’s nursery was in the basement, so there wouldn’t be any windows or natural light. First of all, I LOVE the fact that this thought even crossed Kelly’s mind. So sweet of her to let me know. Second of all, no natural light? No problem. We’ve gotcha covered.
Parenthood looks good on you two.
Break time #2!
Would you look at this beautiful girl!
Those pearls belonged to her great-grandmother.
Break time #3! Dad’s pretty good at getting those burps out.
Kelly and Tim had this all set up for this shot! I’m definitely more of a lifestyle photographer but absolutely love how this turned out!
Sleeping on her dad’s uniform. Thank you for your service!
Toesies!
This girl is so loved.
Kelly, you look incredible.
Still wearing her great-grandmother’s pearls and sleeping in the same cradle her great-grandfather slept in when he was a baby.
This was my favorite outfit Blakely wore!
When we walked downstairs to grab a few shots in their bedroom, I saw this! WHAT?!? A canvas from their wedding day on their bedroom wall! Ahhh!!! It’s incredibly cool to see our work on the walls of our couples’ homes.
Kelly & Tim,
Thank you for welcoming me into your home. Blakely is beautiful, sweet, and everything good. I love how much thought you put into all those sentimental items – grandma’s pearls, grandpa’s cradle, military uniform, and the metal sign above her crib. Can’t wait for the next session!
