Larryn+Andre – Wedding – Montgomery, Indiana

Meet Larryn and Andre! We headed to Montgomery, Indiana, for this beautiful December wedding.
Here is the gorgeous Larryn! She got her hair and makeup done at Tara’s Hair Salon in Plainville.
While others got all beautified, there was plenty of time for coloring!
When it’s this early in the morning, you gotta have that chocolate milk.
Fun Fact: Larryn was my suitemate during my freshman year in college! I can’t count the number of times we played the game Phase 10 that year.
Larryn’s bridesmaids created a book filled with pictures and letters they wrote to her.
While the ladies were getting ready, Andre was grilling some meat for the guys.
Working on those cufflinks.
Hair spraying it up!
Larryn’s sweet hairstylist became a little emotional. She would curl hair, wipe away tears, curl hair, wipe away tears…
We couldn’t leave without a robe shot!
We hopped on a school bus that reminded me of the van that Lloyd and Harry drove in Dumb and Dumber. It had furry walls and everything! P.S. Larryn, I adore your smile in this image.
The whole crew!
While the girls were on their way to the church, Nick took all the groomsmen pictures.
Gotta give a shout-out to these guys. They were kind, enthusiastic, and gave the best compliments to us at the end of the night.
Andre, lookin’ spiffy!
On the left – Larryn helping her mom with her necklace.
On the right – Hello, beautiful!! Dang, you look stunning, Larryn!
When it was time for the first look with her dad, her best friend and mama helped her up the stairs.
Meet Larryn’s dad!
Ughhh!!!! These ladies were just the sweetest.
You’ve got a good group, Larryn.
This is one of my favorite moments of the day. We were minutes away from walking down the aisle. While Larryn was peeking out of this room, her kindergarten teacher walked by, saw her, and gave her the biggest hug.
They were married at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Montgomery, IN.
One of the flower girls spotted me!
Their pastor included several personal short stories about the two of them. I love it when a ceremony is specifically tailored to the individuals getting married.
Yep, it was gorgeous.
Making it official! They signed their marriage license during the ceremony.
As I write this, we are currently going through COVID-19, but this wedding took place a few months before that. I’m sure hugs and handshakes will mean even more once the coronavirus passes. Thankful that Larryn and Andre were able to freely love on each one of their guests.
After the receiving line, we snapped a few family portraits.
And snapped a few lying-on-the-ground shots as well!
I can’t get over two things.
1. How stunning you two look together.
2. How your church was so beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t that cold for a December wedding! How lucky were we all?!?
Andre seeing what he can see. Ha!
All the groomsmen and bridesmaids were quite generous with the drinks on the bus.
Whoever hoisted that groomsmen into the air, nice work!
Check out those colorful socks!
Thanks for treating us so well, friends!
Ooooh!! I LOVE that jean jacket with your dress.
These two dated for almost five years before they got married.
They traveled to Florida for spring break, and Andre proposed on the beach with all their friends around!
Mrs. Knepp, yes please!
I have to brag on these two for a minute. They offered both Nick and myself breakfast when we arrived in the morning, made sure we ate dinner during the reception, and offered to pay for our hotel stay. Thank you for being such kind human beings.
Pulling corn husks out of her dress!
The grand entrance!
Their reception was held at the Montgomery Ruritan Club.
I have the worst memory, so someone send me a message and remind me of the full story, but I’m pretty sure when Andre and his best man were kids, they would drink chocolate milk by the gallons. In his speech, he surprised Andre with these, and they drank up!
First dance.
Father-daughter and mother-son dance.
Another favorite moment. Sweet flower girl sitting on her mama’s lap and twirling her hair.
That’s Andre’s sister on the left.
The dollar dance was a success!
Then everyone proceeded to paaar-tay!
When everyone ran outside to pet a deer that stopped by (yes, you read that correctly), we grabbed a couple more shots of these two.
Once the deer finally wandered off, everyone came back inside to hit the dance floor again!
Last shot of the night!
Larryn and Andre,

We feel so honored that you even asked us to photograph such an important day. Who would have thought I would be photographing my college freshman suitemate’s wedding 12 years later! Your day was beautiful and filled with so much love. I’m so glad you two found each other.

Caitlynn & Nick

Blast from the past! Back in our freshman dorm room playing Phase 10.
Okay, back to the present!
Nick’s got that dress under control!
We were able to spend the day with two talented videographers from Winkler Productions, Jacob Winkler and Micah Liston. You can check out their fabulous video here!
Nick being…Nick.
It was a pleasure, Larryn.
