Erin and Brody are back on our blog for their wedding in Terre Haute, Indiana! Take a seat and start scrolling because DANG! We couldn’t love these images and their day more!
Erin and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at Elements Salon in Terre Haute. They always do such a great job and come out ahead of schedule!
Erin has been the most patient bride waiting on her images! I want to brag on her big time for that.
All I can think of is that Seinfeld episode where Jerry’s girlfriend sees him “scratching” his nose.
George: Was it a scratch or a pick?
Jerry: It was a scratch.
George: Hey. It’s me.
Jerry: Don’t you think I know the difference between a pick and a scratch? Since Erin and Brody booked us for the entire day, I was able to capture all these little getting-ready moments. I think they really set the scene for the day.
Final touches with the hairspray.
Cheers to Erin and Brody!
So pretty!!
Nick was hanging out with the guys while I was with the ladies.
The guys’ details. Haha!
That’s Erin’s dad helping Brody.
And Brody helping Erin’s dad!
Erin put her dress on at Brody’s parents’ house.
They exchanged letters.
A snippet of Erin’s note to Brody went a little something like this.
“You are my best friend and the better half of me. From two kids in high school just living life to the fullest to now two adults making real life decisions together, there is no one else I would rather do life with.”
Erin attached two special items to her bouquet.
1. A cross. After her mom went through chemo, she gave Erin a cross for being there for her.
2. Two Disney charms. The first place they traveled after her mom finished chemo was Disney.
Her bouquet was by J. Sims Floral Designs.
First look with her dad. I think they needed some tissues.
Nick took the guys for a walk and found some shade for groomsmen pictures.
Look who else was dressed up for the big day!
Ladies!! Thank you for being so kind and welcoming. I told them I’d be back in three minutes to walk around the house to find a location for bridesmaid pictures. They said, “Cool! We’ll go wherever you want!”
ERIN!! You are one gorgeous woman.
And I adore your bride tribe!
The guests started arriving.
They signed the guest book that we designed for Erin and Brody using their engagement images.
Erin and her dad made their way to the ceremony.
This all took place on Brody’s family’s land. What!?! I love it.
A family friend married them. We’ve been seeing more and more friends and family members marrying our brides and grooms. I think it makes the ceremony even more personal.
Saying hello to that just-married feeling!
This wedding party had more energy than the middle school students I used to teach!
Then it was time for some portraits of these two.
Once the ceremony was over, Brody couldn’t stop yawning. I think it was all of that adrenaline and anticipation leading up to seeing Erin!
Erin, you are an absolutely stunning individual.
That’s right! They make such a cute couple.
Erin only requested ONE shot on her wedding day – this veil image. Check! Got it.
Be on the lookout for Erin and Brody’s behind-the-scenes Instagram story coming soon as well.
You guys!!!
After pictures were over, the shoes came off!
On the left. Brody’s dad fixing those suspenders.
On the right. Their grand entrance to the reception!
Look at that engraving on the cake knife!
After they cut the cake, Brody gave quite an intense kiss.
First dance.
They danced to “Yours” by Russell Dickerson.
“I came to life when I first kissed you
The best me has his arms around you
You make me better than I was before
Thank God I’m yours.”
Father-daughter dance.
Brody had a first dance with his mom AND his grandma.
Getting that garter!
Then the party really started!
See what I mean?! Shirts started coming off!
Back to Seinfeld.
Jerry: Is that so unforgivable? Is that like breaking a commandment? Did God say to Moses thou shalt not pick?
George: I guarantee you that Moses was a picker. You wander through the desert for forty years with that dry air. You’re telling me you’re not going to have to occasionally clean house a little bit? One of their videographers decided to join in on the dancing (or should I say backflipping?)
Then the cigars were passed out.
That’s Erin’s mom on the left. This was the moment she reminded me that she is just like Lorelai from Gilmore Girls and Erin is just like Rory.
We grabbed Erin and Brody and took them outside the tent for a few night shots! Thanks for stepping away from the party for a couple minutes.
If you need any advice on partying, ask this crew!
See what I mean?!
Spilled drinks didn’t stop anyone from dancing.
I’m cracking up at the guy’s facial expression in the background!
Whip that hair back and forth.
Erin and Brody,

Nick pinning those boutonnieres.
It was an absolute pleasure working with these two videographers from Ransom Wedding Films. They absolutely killed Erin and Brody’s video!
I LOVE the veil and hairspray shots!!!
Those reception pictures!!! You can tell everyone was having a blast!
