The Adams family is back on our blog! Nick and I were able to spend the afternoon and evening with my good friend, Laura, from college and her sweet family. We started the day with some bubbles.
and t-ball!
Hello, blue-eyed beauty.
Love that Nick caught this! “Keep your two eyes on the ball.”
There’s big brother Ben passing by! His goal was to sneak in as many peace signs as he could.
That’s Miss Reagan hanging out on Mom.
Then Ben wanted to show his sisters how to hit a baseball!
Meet Dad, aka Logan. He’s a police officer in Columbus!
Ahhh!! I love this.
I totally had to message Laura and ask her who was who. That’s Everly on the left and Reagan on the right.
We started their session by just snapping some shots of everyday life. Yes, please!!
Meet their furry friend, Leia.
Next up, hopscotch!
Everly cheesing it up!
Took all these pictures of this family back in 2017. So cool to see it on their living room wall.
Someone had a boo-boo, so they had to make the important decision of picking out which band-aid character was best.
Since Everly had a band-aid, Reagan had to get one too. Looks like Woody and the aliens from Toy Story made the cut!
Ben was super excited to show us his room.
Then it was time to get hair done and new outfits put on for family pictures.
Reagan brushed her dad’s hair to make sure it was in tiptop shape for pictures too.
Look at that! Another peace sign made it in.
Time for the shoe game! Nope, not the shoe game we normally see at weddings. During this one, the goal is to find three pairs of matching shoes. While Dad was finding shoes, Mom went upstairs to change her own outfit. She told me that we don’t need pictures of her getting ready. Ha!
I asked Laura and Logan if they would mind taking a few family pictures on their bed. They kindly agreed! That meant that all those shoes that they took so much time to put on were taken off. (Yikes!) Thanks for being so kind, friends.
Worth it!
I’m pretty sure I said, “Show me that smile, Ben,” and he did this.
So thankful for this family. Laura and I met at USI and were roommates for most of our college years.
📱You know the friend you can text at 1:30 in the morning when you hear a strange noise in your house?
Done that.
🍟When you are going through Wendy’s drive-thru and on the phone at the same time, you say, “Hang on. I’ve gotta order some food.”
That was her on the other end.
📸When I can’t decide which sneak peek to post for our couples, and I need someone to make that decision for me.
She does that.
Thanks for being such a good friend, Laura.
I can’t get over these little ladies.
Then we grabbed a few front porch pictures.
And we can’t forget to get Mom and Dad together.
Yep, we did grab those look-at-the-camera-and-smile shots, but these are always my favorites. So glad the Adams family has some fun and takes time to hangout while we shoot.
Hello, personalities!
That’s Everly in the yellow and Reagan in the blue.
Like father, like son.
Tightening up those training wheels.
We all headed out for a walk (or a ride for some).
These next two!!
After the walk, it was back inside the house to end the day with some ice cream!
The anticipation!
Brain freeze!
Then these two cuties talked their parents into letting them eat some popcorn and Doritos before bed!
Then we played, not the shoe game, but the pajama game!
Family. A little bit of crazy, a little bit of loud, and a whole lot of love.
Bedtime story.
And hugs before bed.
Laura, Logan, Ben, Everly, and Reagan,
Thank you for letting us document your day and your family. We love you guys.
Oh my goodness!! I love the lifestyle portrayed here! It is IMPOSSIBLE to pick a favorite!
