Meet the Buell family! We were able to spend the evening with this family in their backyard this past summer. I’ve fallen in love with their images. You must look!
Meet Hogarth and Hazel. We aim to capture the real you, real personalities, and real life during our sessions. So when Hazel sticks that tongue of hers out, we start clicking because that is HER!
Hey there, Dad and Nora!
Eeekkkk! Posted this one on our Facebook and Instagram page since I love those smiles so much.
Can’t handle all that happiness!
Sooo…umm…this blog is little longer than most of my family sessions, but you know what? I don’t care. LOVE this family. It’s my blog, and I can do what I want, right?
Ugghhh!!! My heart!
I’ve been reading on Sarah’s Instagram that she has morning lessons for these cuties each day. When I stopped by their house over a year ago, Hogarth said, “I has some bubbles to show you!” Sarah quietly and calmly told him that he should say, “I have some bubbles to show you.” Education is important to them.
Those hands around Dad’s legs. Those feet dangling. The tickles. I can almost hear the laughter.
I cannot stop laughing at the shot on the right! Hazel’s hair!
A couple favorites! Matt, I do believe you need to join The Rocketts!
Don’t worry. We didn’t lose Nora! She’s sitting on Mom. If you look to the very left of the image, you can see her little leg.
See!! There she is!
Sarah, a.k.a. Mom, told me she let everyone choose their own outfit for their family session. I love that everyone’s personality shines, not only through their expressions, but also through their outfits. Sweet Hazel there in the middle loves to dress up and Sarah told me she picked out that dress on her own. Hogarth, sitting in Mom’s lap, will look back on this image several years from now and remember that he loved those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Baby Nora, sitting on Dad’s lap, maaaybe had a little help with her outfit choice.
This guy is a true big brother. A protector. When all the kiddos spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, he’s always checking on his little sisters.
After we grabbed a few pictures of the family together, Hazel quickly changed into her dress-up outfit. Would you LOOK at those heels! I’m telling you that she not only walked in them, but ran full speed ahead! Wish I had that ability.
When Hazel changed into her fancy outfit, Hogarth grabbed his sword. Perfect for a big brother who looks out for his little sisters.
Gah!! Nora, you’re precious.
Showing off their superpowers!
Those eyes!
We ended the session with a few shots of Sarah and Matt. Sarah, you’re gorgeous.
Matt makes Sarah laugh; therefore, Matt’s pretty awesome.
After the session, Hogarth and Hazel wanted a snack. Hazel didn’t finish hers, so Hogarth asked his mom if he could finish his sister’s snack. Sarah replied that he needed to ask his sister before taking her food. He respectfully walked up to her and asked before he ate. Love all the manners and respect that happens in this household.
Hazel read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie to me while Nick photographed Mom and Dad.
Eeeekkk!! Another favorite.
Sarah, Matt, Hogarth, Hazel, and Nora,
Thanks for hanging out with us for the evening and being yourselves. I love the fact that all these images took place in your backyard. We must do it again soon! Love you all!
