Meet Carlee and Paul! These two were married at the beautiful Sycamore at Mallow Run in Bargersville, Indiana.
In love with all of Carlee’s details.
She included some special pieces like her grandmother’s ring.
Okay, those dresses!! Obsessed!
The wonderful Chelsea Shoemaker styled Carlee’s hair.
Then it was time to move on to makeup.
Funny story. Bridesmaid Maria ordered her dress in plenty of time for Carlee and Paul’s big day, but when she arrived the day before and looked at everyone else’s dresses, she realized she ordered it in the wrong color. Whoops! No biggie. She hopped on Amazon, reordered it with one-day shipping, and it arrived the morning of the wedding. Dear Amazon Prime, I’m pretty sure Maria needs to be in an ad for you!
Angelia Eccles is a master at makeup!
One of the bridesmaids was trying to describe the color of pink Carlee decided on for her lips but couldn’t remember the name. She said, “Oh, it’s a Carlee pink!”
The flower girls arrived!
Flower girls on the left and mother-of-the-bride & mother-of-the-groom on the right.
Carlee and Paul displayed pictures of their grandparents’ and parents’ wedding day for everyone to view as they walked in.
Guestbook with pictures from their engagement session with us!
While the girls were getting hair and makeup done, the guys played some cornhole.
Meet Paul!
He works at IU Medical as a nutritionist.
Father-of-the-groom helping father-of-the-bride!
It didn’t take the guys long to get ready.
Putting on the dress.
First look with her dad. There were many tears shed.
Carlee and Paul held hands and exchanged letters before they saw each other.
P.S. That beautiful bouquet was made by McNamara Florist in Indianapolis.
First look! Checking out his future (in just a few hours) wife!
Get it!!
These two met at Indiana State University. When they started dating, Paul showed up at Carlee’s house with some roses and a Ring Pop!
He proposed on the canal in Indianapolis with a waterfall behind them. Go Paul! Then with some help from bridesmaid Maxine, he surprised Carlee with friends and family waiting to celebrate at The Tap!
Paul’s mom was ready to hydrate Carlee after spending a few minutes in the 93 degree heat for pictures.
Love each and every one of you, dear wedding party!
The guys. The girls.
LOVE those dresses!
Looking dapper, Paul.
Carlee, you were drop-dead gorgeous!
A toast before it’s time to walk down the aisle.
They even talked Grandma into taking a shot!
Look at the expression on Paul’s face!
That’s Carlee’s parents there on the right.
Time to bustle the dress with some help from Maxine.
Carlee and Paul scheduled their pictures so they would be finished with everything before the ceremony. That way they could enjoy the cocktail hour by mingling with their guests.
Hey there flower girls’ family! Can I take a picture?
First dance as husband and wife.
Carlee’s dad gave a wonderful speech. He talked about how Carlee has always been a daddy’s girl, but now she’s Paul’s wife too. He then gave her a hat he had designed with one side saying “Daddy’s Girl” and the other saying “Paul’s Wife”.
First dances. When it was time for the garter toss, Paul had a few tricks up his sleeve.
But he didn’t realize that Carlee had more than a garter hidden under her dress. She iced him!
We couldn’t pass up the sunset outdoors, so we grabbed these two for a few more pictures.
You’re kidding me, right?! The Sycamore at Mallow Run has a beautiful vineyard, and God gave us a gorgeous sunset for the evening. Perfect combination.
You guys!! I love this girl!
Back to the reception shenanigans! It was quite the party.
The night ended with a sparkler exit.
Carlee and Paul,
We absolutely loved your day. Thanks for braving the heat and lookin’ so darn spectacular. It was such a pleasure to document your story and meet your family and friends. We so appreciate all your patience.
Caitlynn & Nick
Carlee’s mom surprised me by taking these pictures of me and sending them to me a little later. I’m so glad she did because in the busyness of the day, Nick forgot to take any “behind-the-scenes” picture of me.
That’s Nick with Carlee and Maxine!
Meet Earl with NWP Films. He took video of their day and created something beautiful! You can view it here.
While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the workers at the venue made sure the room was ready for the reception.
Ha! I turned my camera toward these two (Earl with NWP Films and Nick – my crazy husband) and this is the look they gave me.
An Absolutely Beautiful wedding for my Grandaughter!!! Loved every minute of it!!!💝💝💞💞❤️❤️
