Kassi and Sam are back on our blog for their wedding! Whoop, whoop!
Check it out! Sam decided to get a Lord of the Rings ring for his wedding band. If that’s not a true fan, then I don’t know what is!
Hello, gorgeous details.
Fancy, fancy! The flower girls’ dresses were to die for.
Like I’ve said before, I always admire a bride who doesn’t feel like she has to follow tradition. Kassi chose these shoes because they represented her personality and her style.
When Kassi’s good friend Chris showed up, he walked directly to Kassi, grabbed her by the shoulders, and said, “You’re getting married today!”
This darling flower girl was a show stealer. So many people, including myself, immediately thought she looked like Boo off of Monster’s Inc.
While Kassi was finishing her makeup, Sam was feeling hairtastic for the big day!
All of the groomsmen took turns getting their hair cut and playing video games.
Nick said that Sam was all smiles throughout the morning.
Gah! Killer groomsmen shot. Love this one so much.
Star Wars fan, anyone?
Everyone was absolutely incredible for jumping outside when the high for the day was a whopping 17 degrees!Eeekkk!! Kassi, you’re so beautiful.
And look at that! There’s your handsome man!
Kassi and Sam both wrote each other letters, and they just happened to read them at the exact (and I mean EXACT) same moment. When I looked at the timestamp on each image, it’s the same time down to the second.
Getting married time!
They were married at the Indiana Theater in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Sometimes we don’t get the opportunity and other times based on the location it’s just not possible, but we try to get a shot of the parents, grandparents, or guests during the ceremony. It’s important to capture the whole story.
Their “second” first kiss! Right after they walked down the aisle and before anyone else walked into the room, I saw this!
Hey there, incredible wedding party! Love, love, love you all! (P.S. Nick has stories upon stories from all those guys on Sam’s side. Glad you kept him and each other entertained.)
We grabbed a few shots in the beautiful rotunda.
Then they were brave enough to pop outside for a couple minutes!
These two were so patient, kind, and downright happy the entire day.
These next two are a couple of my favorites. Sitting in the theater seats together. They took the images from their engagement session and used them to decorate the guests’ tables. See?? They were able to include their pups in their wedding day!
Grand entrance!Speeches typed. Speeches on notecards. Speeches on iPhones.
First dance on the stage.
Father/daughter dance.
Then Kassi’s mom joined them!
Kassi’s dad let these two end the dance together.
Mother/son dance.
Time to fill the dance floor!
Can you see everyone around Kassi and Sam? Barely? Maybe? Well, I promise they’re there. Everyone made a huge circle and surrounded them for a dance or two.
They have some moves!
They brought a sign with them so they could use an image like the one below for their future thank you cards.
The night ended with a fabulous sparkler exit.
Kassi and Sam,
Congrats, friends! It was an incredible day. You two are perfecto for one another. Thank you for allowing us to be there and tell your story.
