Kenzie+Colin

Meet Kenzie and Colin! We met these two downtown Indianapolis and started off with some city shots. They’re getting married at The Sycamore Winery in Terre Haute in October!

While we were shooting near Cornerstone Bread Co., we saw this car parked near the building. Looks like they take their job pretty seriously.
Colin graduated from Rose Hulman and is currently an engineer. Near the end of the evening, we started talking about podcasts. Nick and I just finished listening to the podcast Serial which is about a high-school senior who was arrested for murder.  Colin recommended one about real estate and investing – Bigger Pockets. I listened to it as I edited your images!

They met through one of Kenzie’s sorority friends.
Colin proposed to Kenzie during a weekend trip to New York on a rooftop!
Nick asked them what they like to do for fun. Colin enjoys going shooting and Kenzie likes to workout.
I’m not sure we’ve ever laughed more during a session! These two are definitely up-for-anything and go-with-the-flow people!
Outfit and location change!
The second half of our session took place on IUPUI’s campus where Kenzie just finished up her master’s degree. Whoop, whoop! Go Kenzie!
For their first kiss, Colin pretended to go in for a smooch and then backed away. This made Kenzie bust out laughing, but while she was laughing, Colin decided to go in for the real kiss and ended up kissing her on her teeth. Haha! This is the greatest!

I kept saying, “One more picture,” near the end of the night, but when the sky did THIS, we ended up taking twenty more shots. So thankful these two let us shoot into the night to get images like this! Colin said, “Hey, it’s no problem. At least I’m getting my money’s worth.”
