Taylor+Ethan – Wedding – Brazil, Indiana

Meet Taylor and Ethan! They were married in Brazil, Indiana at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
Taylor is super organized and had all of her details ready for me to photograph when I arrived. While the rest of the ladies got their hair and makeup done, I snapped all of these pictures!
Then it was time for Taylor’s makeup!
All the ladies got ready at Ethan’s sister’s house.
When we first met with Taylor, she was in her senior year of nursing school. That’s right. She’s a hard worker.
Look what movie was playing when I walked into the house!

The bridesmaids went for a coffee run.
I didn’t even notice that I took these exact shots until I started editing! Taylor and her mom putting on their earrings. Such beautiful ladies.
While I was with the ladies, Nick was at the Clay County Fairgrounds getting these shots. Getting dressed in the kitchen! You gotta do what you gotta do!

This guy has his psychology degree and when we first met with him, he was working for a campus ministry.
It was time for Taylor and her bridesmaids to pack up the vehicle and head to the fairgrounds when she said, “I’m so thirsty!” She really wanted some Gatorade but was also a bit worried about getting it on her dress. Her thirst outweighed her worry!
Can’t forget that deodorant!
The backseat was taken out of the vehicle, so Taylor’s dress wouldn’t have any wrinkles when they arrived at the fairgrounds.
Imagine this backdoor slowly opening and a beautiful bride popping out!

I love the fact that Ethan had his grandpa as one of his groomsmen.
We send a wedding questionnaire to all of our brides and grooms to help us prepare for the day. At the end of it, there’s a space that asks if there’s anything else we should know. Ethan typed, “Warn Nick that I’m dashingly handsome.” (This is why we love you guys!)
Ethan’s nephew gave grandma a ride before the ceremony.

Taylor asked her mom to be her matron of honor. So sweet.
I learned that it is only on very rare occasions that you would see Taylor in a dress. She’s a running shorts and t-shirt kind of gal. Taylor, I must say that you look absolutely gorgeous.

This was exactly 24 seconds before her dad gave her away.
Married!
Right after Ethan and Taylor walked down the aisle and walked outside, I opened the door to see if I could see them. THIS is what I saw! Haha!

This little guy couldn’t stop yawning during family pictures. Longest yawn in the history of yawns!
Oh, Wedding Party! We love you guys.
When we first met with Taylor and Ethan, Taylor said that pictures were super important to her. They left plenty of time after the ceremony to get pictures of them together!

These two have known each other since kindergarten!
Taylor’s brother said that she kept asking Ethan when he was going to ask her out. Over and over and over. When he finally asked her out, she said, “Well, you have to ask my dad first.”

Ughhh!!! You guys!! You killed it.
On the day Ethan proposed, they had just finished shopping together and had driven back to Taylor’s house. Ethan wasn’t helping Taylor get all their bags out of the car, and she thought, “Why isn’t he helping?” He told her to just leave all the bags in the car and they would get them later. Music started playing; Taylor thought, “Does he want to dance?” Then she saw a bunch of colorful items in the yard and immediately thought that her dogs had gotten into the water balloons, but Ethan had actually put a bunch of her favorite flowers in the yard. I think you can say that Taylor was surprised when he proposed!
Loving this image because there are so many different things happening at once.
1. Signing the marriage license on the trunk of a car.
2. Working on getting her veil out.
3. Bustling that dress.
On the left: I almost couldn’t take this picture because I was laughing so hard! This is how the newlyweds walked into their reception. I think Ethan got so involved in the grand entrance that he left his bride behind. Haha!

We cannot recommend DJ Jason Turner enough! He is crazy talented at what he does and truly keeps the dance party going all night.
Taylor’s parents came up to us and told us that they couldn’t believe how much Taylor danced that night! Yep, she sure does have some killer dance moves.

This was the coolest way to end a reception! If you’re a fan of The Office, you know the episode where Jim and Pam get married (or the viral YouTube video where all this originated). Ethan and Taylor recreated that specific part and everyone had a chance to “dance down the aisle.” I’m pretty sure I had goosebumps!
