Meet Levi! He’s a senior at South Putnam High School in Greencastle, Indiana.
We started his session in downtown Brazil. I immediately told Levi that he has such a genuine smile.
His mom asked if we could get some shots outside the museum. Of course!
If you had an extra $100 to spend on yourself every week, what would you do? “Realistically, I would probably save the $100 each week until it grows into more money, but if I had to spend it, it would definitely be on more clothes. Because who doesn’t like new clothes.”
I had the privilege of having Levi as a student when I taught middle school. WHAT?!? So honored that you asked me to photograph you as a senior.
See? There’s that perfect smile again.
Favorite breakfast food? “Pancakes with peanut butter and syrup.” Nick read Levi’s answer earlier today and said, “Ooohhh, let’s make some!”
If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Blue.
This guy is currently working two jobs seven days a week right now. Since students can’t physically go to school because of COVID-19, Levi decided to make some extra money before college.
LOVE this shirt. F.R.I.E.N.D.S was my favorite show when I was in high school. Also, when he turned around, I noticed the back of his shirt has the names of all his classmates on it. Allllll the students I taught! *insert crying emoji face*
Okay, back to talking about Levi’s job. He works for Five Star Technology at South Putnam, so I’m guessing he fixes computers and helps teachers with any technology problems. Super cool, Levi. He’s the only student who does that right now.
In the fall, he’ll head to Purdue University.
He plans on majoring in Professional Flight Technology to become a commercial airline pilot. Yep, I’d feel safe if we boarded a plane with Levi as our pilot.
Then we headed to Oak Ridge Golf Course in Brazil.
Levi is on the golf team and has been golfing since elementary school.
You can only watch one TV show the rest of your life. Which one is it? “Hawaii Five-0”
Favorite thing about yourself.
“Physically: my eyes when you can actually see them.
Personality wise: my sarcastic humor.”
I don’t think I’ve ever been to a golf course and learned why we should not put a step stool on the green. (Don’t worry. Levi and his mama stopped me before I did! Yikes!)
Favorite place. “Anywhere with views.”
You killed this session, Levi.
He even brought his cap and gown since we don’t know what graduation will look like this year.
What do you hope to be doing in 20 years? “I hope to be flying for a major airline, with a family and a nice house that has incredible views and is somewhere warm. And maybe a dog or two. ”
Levi,
It was an absolute pleasure to have you in class way back in middle school and an honor to photograph you now. Thank you for being such a respectful and considerate human being. Hope to see you in the sky soon!
